The friends of Juniper Flats are sponsoring a couple of events this Saturday April 17. There will be a wildflower/native plant hike in Juniper Flats meeting at 0800 at the Bonita Vista parking lot off Roundup way in Apple Valley.
Also, for those interested in learning more about our local and migrant bird population, there is a birdwatching hike on the same day Saturday, April 17 meeting at BLM kiosk on corner of Bowen Ranch Road and Coxey Truck Trail (3N14) at 0730.
After the birdwalk, there will be an OHV tour of the Juniper Flats area meeting at the same Kiosk around 1045. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required negotiate the route we plan on using. Motorcyclists are welcome.
