Although Forest Service regulations do not prohibit nudity, if someone complains about your nudity you are required to cover up ... no argument allowed. <Bummer>
I have almost always visited on the weekends and have never encountered such a non-tolerant crowd to clothing optional use like the one described. Sometimes we've felt out-numbered and a little uncomfortable.
You have my sympathy ... please come back to enjoy the springs like they usually are .
