MValley, as you learned, NEVER go to Deep Creek on the weekends or holidays, and if possible, try not to arrive so late in the afternoon. That sounds like a typical weekend crowd. Your best bet is to go during the week and arrive early. Chances are it will be uncrowded, mellow, and very comfortable for nudity. I can understand your dilemma about being outnumbered by non nude soakers. Please keep in mind that if anyone hassles you about nude use, remind that that Forest Service regulations do not prohibit nudity. Also, no one should film or videotape anyone without their permission.

Sorry to hear about your less than happy experience. You will definitely have a better time if you go early on a weekday.
