The show has begun everyone and the colors are popping out everywhere. With all of this great sunshine, now is the time to come on out and enjoy the beauty of the desert. Everywere you look its turning green and the color carpets of yellow flowers are starting to appear. I had a really fine day today guiding a couple of L.A. Times reporters out to the Juniper Flats ACEC. I guess word has gotten out that there is a story to be told out here in Juniper Flats. After our hike, they proceded on to the Bowen Ranch to get another perspective. We will be looking forward to an upcoming story from the L.A. Times on the issues we have been discussing lately on the forum. There was a congregation of Village residents hanging around in the sunshine shooting the breeze today. We did reach consensus on one thing........its springtime!
