Hello Jobe :-) Regarding that small, short cut road that you mentioned, recently when I was down at DCHS, Vet Ed told me that its open now. I noticed also that since the red " closed route " sign has been gone, that road is being used much more now. I don't know if Vet Ed talked to some agency, like the BLM about the road being open, or if the red sign just disappeared, as they do some times, and he just thinks its open.
