Plans are being made for Earth Day activities on Juniper Flats and Arrastre Canyon. The date is tentatively set for Saturday, April 17. (The actual date for Earth Day is the following Thursday.) The main staging area will likely be near the Japatul entrance for convenience. Because of limited parking, activities may be staged separately.
Suggested activities are an equestrian tour, hot springs visit, 4X4 tour, birding and wildflower walks.
This presents an opportunity to showcase a unique multi-use recreational resource on Victor Valley's very doorstep during a particularly vibrant season.
Suggestions and participation are welcomed!
