When I was coming up the powerline Rd on Tuesday heading for DCHS, I was looking at that surface mine just to the west of the Juniper Flats area. I think its no longer operating. Too bad they left a big mess after thier mining activity with all the white stuff. Typical of the mining companies, just get the goods and profit, at a rip off price to the public who's lands they are on, then they hit the road, leaving a big mess behind. Also LB, hope you know I was kidding you about the FOJF report, I think they are a necesary part of watching over and protecting those lands.
