BLM plans

I wonder how the USFS feels about the BLM plan to direct OHV traffic into the San Bernardino National Forest from mulitple and redundant routes. The WEMO plan in Juniper Flats is getting some extra scrutiny these days and a special BLM team is currently doing a route mapping project using GPS. I guess they want to document the spagetti bowl of illegal trails out there. Also, I recieved word that the man who holds the Round Mountain cattle allotment, Jon Stone, is bringing his cattle up the hill in the next few weeks. We can expect the fecal coloform levels to rise dramaticly in Deep Creek when those cowpies hit the water!
