Thanks for the thought serenitynow but those fruit trees will probably be removed by the USFS. You can save them and transplant at my place though. I can give them a good home and plenty of water. There is a small orchard already established there. Its on the way to the hot springs off of Bowen Ranch Road.

Mike Castro is the owner of the Bowen Ranch and he is entitled to the rights of his own property. He does not have the right to harrass the public when they drive by his ranch on the legal open free public access route to the Hot Springs. The history of violent and hostile behavior by this man continues.

WEMO will undoubtably wind up in the courts and once again, the BLM really screwed themselves. I dont know exactly which part of the laws regarding protection of cultural and riparian resources within an Area of Critical Environmental Concern they dont comprehend. Maybe its because they have a former OHV lobbiest named Mike Ahrens making biological decisions.

The DCV have really done a great job in developing and maintaining a relationship with the USFS. The USFS policy is "hands off" with no alterations to the natural environment, no overnight camping and no open fires. Please assist us in our mission to preserve and protect Deep Creek by not introducing non native species unless authorized by the USFS.
