Re: Objections to Moss Mill Rd. Closure due May 2

I have just received my copy of the WEMO report. BLM gives additional reasons for closure of Moss Mill Rd. in addition to the 17 year trespass.

Although acknowledging that Moss Mill Rd. was the historic hot springs access, they do not own up to failing to provide 2WD access to the USFS trailhead to Deep Creek Hot Springs of the historic access.

Misrepresentations include exaggeration of the length of the Moss Mill route segment across Bowen Ranch and failure to acknowledge the easement of record.

Another glaring and outrageous misrepresentation is that the cultural resources at Cottonwood Springs are protected behind a fence. Someone should check the Barstow Field Office. I suspect the resource protection people have been bound and gagged.
