I think people need to know that closure of public lands has already occurred and could occur near or at Deep Creek. These public agencies have the power to close public lands, of which deep creek is on public lands.
With these new management plans in the works, people need to realize that these agencies have the power to affect the future of deep creek.
If more people would take an active interest in attending these Forest and BLM meetings, we may have a chance to protect our right to access Deep Creek in the future.
Many people think that these agencies will never be able to restrict or close Deep Creek. I am trying to say that they really could and they have the power.
