Paul, from what I've read here it seems that there is a 120 acre parcel which was originally owned by Fred Moss. I've heard information that recently Mike Castro has actually purchased this parcel. I don't know if this is true or not. The Bowen Family built thier residence many years ago accidentally on Fred Moss's Property so a seperate tax number and a 40 acre easement was created to allow the Bowens to access their home. Katrina has recently purchased a " Quite Claim Deed " from six people back east who " supposedly " owned the rights to the building and easement. Apparently DCHS Inc. is now shown in the tax rolls as owner of the APN which applies to the building and easement. Mike Castro disputes the validity of this Quite Claim Deed and says it holds no power based on the history of how the property has changed hands and the laws of land ownership. I know very little about these land laws so have no way of knowing who's veiw is correct, Katrina's or Mike's.If DCHS Inc. shows as being owner of the building and easement in the tax rolls, then why arn't they able to use and occupy this building and easement? Apparently the process of taking action is not easy and requires money to proceed. Hopefully I have not mis-stated the facts and if so I'm sure Katrina will come along to clear things up :-)
