The spring cleanup was a huge success. The USFS joined up with the Deep Creek Voulenteers and the Deep Creek Flyfishers to make this annual event a real happening. The DCV meeting was attended by Ranger Burns but I missed that part of it. I will let Ron share what was discussed.
What was really great was the sense of community shared by all who attended the meeting under the tree at 1 pm. There was plenty of good food to be shared by all. It really feels good to connect with everyone in real time. So much is lost in cyberspace.
Mrs Bear and I took the long way home via 3N59a up Luna Canyon to JF1 to enjoy the wildflowers. A lot of scorched juniper trees are showing signs of survival with new green growth. The wounds of the Willow Fire are healing slowly after 3-1/2 years. The wildflower show is in full bloom right now. All in all......its a great time to enjoy the area.
Peace to all and enjoy the spring!
