new forum software

Hellooo everybody. Yep, I'm finally able to post again with some help from Rick.

POSTING PROBLEMS: For some reason, I kept getting the response that my username and password did not match, even after going through the change of password routine. Paul got the same response, so I tried replying to the confirmation of registration email that I had received, but it came back as refused. Not having any other email address for Rick, I sent one to Ron for him to forward. When I still hadn't received a response after a couple of days, I asked my good friend Piedra to see if she could register and post using my computer. (Excuse me for the suspicions that ran through my mind, but I thought maybe anyone posting from my computer might be blocked. Piedra's post proved that that was not the case, and also verified for me that it was not something I was doing wrong by my own ignorance.)

OTHER NEW SOFTWARE COMMENTS: I expect to have no further problems with this new software. The only thing that I really don't like is the new titling at the top of the forum. All that extra text seems to me to detract from the simple beauty and message of the photos. I am also curious as to whether AZ Mike has been banned or not, as I found Rick's response to that question to be a bit ambiguous. If he has been banned, then I hope that others will see the wisdom and maturity in Ron's post and not continue to vilify someone who can not respond. Some of you might think that I say this because I am on good terms with AZ Mike, and so would stick up for his side of things, but I assure you that I am against censorship and childish name-calling regardless of who is involved. If AZ Mike indeed deserved to be banned for his hostility and strong language, then the rest of us need not try to outdo him at this point.
