Laughing Bear,
I found it when I was fighting my concieled gun charge. I went to the BLM field office in Barstow. I had an appointment with Berry Nelson. When I got there he was out to lunch, at 10:00? He has been out to lunch ever sinse.
Any way while waiting for him I found a brochure for I think it is the Mojave national preserve, so I went there. I will admit I had my head in a law book and was not completely focused.
To find the BLM field office go north on U.S. 15 turn right on hwy. 247. The BLM field office is on the left after only a block. Go in there and tell'em you want to see the old woman springs meterorite. You may wish to see the wemo plan too. Highway 247 is the first exit before the US 15 and US 40 split. It is the back way into Lucerne Valley too.
Would you ask Berry if lunch is over :~)
