Allow me to comment on the continuation of your speculated scenario, Katrina:
1) "That the authorized officer (BLM Chief Area Ranger Barry Nelson) allowed for OHV use of J1299 Trail."
Comment: True.
2) "That the wing fence constructed by mojavegreen under his range improvement cooperative agreement obstructed J1299 Trail. "
Comment: False. The subject fence is nowhere near J1299.
3) "That obstinate repair of the wing fence by mojavegreen's agency (FOJF) was counterproductive."
Comment: Maintenance of this fence has been solely my responsibility without assistance from FOJF. However, since FOJF is an organization that promotes responsible use of public lands, they will certainly show an interest in this theft.
4) "Therefore: BLM themselves removed those 40 fence posts to prevent further disruptions of the peace."
Comment: I do not believe that BLM personnel removed the posts. Rather, I would expect the same technique that was used to open J1299. Others would be incited to do the "dirty" work while BLM Law Enforcement looked the other way. Another "Done Deal". Waiting three days to make a BLM investigation adds credibilty to that conjecture.
Suffice to say that the outspoken opponent of this fence is BLM Chief Law Enforcement Ranger Nelson. His record speaks for itself.
