Yes it should sound familiar to you especially because one of your equestrian neighbors is afraid to even live in her own house. Fear that was created in her mind as a result of the "OK Corral" incident where your erroneous protection of private property rights, got out of [hand?] / [control?].
This may be how you are able to accept the violent nature of Mike Castro. After all, you have said that Mike Castro is only protecting his private property.
