LA Times Sucks

Did anyone read that huge article on Deep Creek Hot Springs in Saturday's California section? That was painful. Not only did they advertise Deep Creek to millions of SoCal-ers, they romanticized Mike Castro, the lack of law enforcement resources in the area, the crime, the perverts, the drug use and the infamous $4 toll. They made it sound like the wild west. The picture they took was awesome, but that just makes it worse. At least Ranger Burns was quoted. But I for one was depressed to read it. Anyone else?
