Name for New Group - Second Round

The dead line we set for additional suggestions expired last night. That does not mean we can't change name if the majority agree at a later date but let's first choose one to get started.

Just to recap, we voted on a 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice basis with each one receiving 3, 2, 1 votes respectively. Votes were received and tallied from Arizona Mike, DCR, East Bay, Free Our Forests, Katerina, Ken, Laughing Bear, Naked Man, Paul, Paul P., Sycamore Laughing, TikiBeachClub, Viejo Bill, Wizard and myself.

The only name that did not get a single vote was Deep Creek Hot Springs Interest Group so that name is now out of contention. The tally of the rest of the votes was as follows:

17% Deep Creek Hot Springs Conservancy
15% Deep Creek Volunteers
15% Deep Creek Hot Springs Alliance
6% Deep Creek Hot Springs Volunteer Alliance
5% Deep Creek Preservation Alliance
5% Deep Creek Alliance
5% Deep Creek Caretakers
5% United Soakers
3% Deep Creek Preservation Association
3% Deep Creek Hot Springs Preservation Group

You will notice that a gap is forming between the first four and the rest of the potential names. However this is a little deceitful as some of these names were not suggested till recently and therefore not available for some people to vote on.

I would suggest that in this round everyone can stay with their original votes or recast 1st, 2nd and 3rd votes. If the people that have voted in the previous round do not vote again in this round I will keep the original votes. The first name to achieve 50% will be the chosen name. I would like to propose that any names that receive less than 5% this round will be dropped for the next round, if the number one choice does not reach 50%. We will keep this round open till next Wednesday July 26th. Hope this works for all.
