There is a movement for responsible recreation that is growing. As the OHV community is responsibile for its actions, people who enjoy this form of recreation must be aware of the effect on rural neighborhoods. Obviously, there is a growing problem and it cannot be ignored. Private property rights are being blatently ignored by renegade riders who are very hostile and aggressive. Local property owners who stand up for their ownership rights are being assaulted and targeted with intentional vandalism. The only solution is some tough laws against OHV trespass . Designated areas of public land exist for wide open unrestricted motorcycle riding and those who wish to engage in this type of recreation should be encouraged to go there. The FOJF continue to document irresponsible recreation on public and private lands in the area. These reports illustrate the growing problem very clearly to our legislators and public administrators.
