Lets Party :-(

My wife showed me an article in our local paper ( The Daily Press ) from Friday 1-11-02 in the Weekender Magazine section, starting on page 8, and it listed their picks for the 10 best hiking destinations in the local mountains and deserts. One of the listed spots was Deep Creek Hotsprings. Here's the thing I didn't like. Their first sentence in the description of DCHS is this " A favorite Hight Desert party locale in the mountains east of Hesperia, ". Well I for one don't want our special springs listed as a " party local " and I will be calling to express this to Susan D. Lawson who did the story and photo's for the article. The last thing we need is for this person to advertise our beloved springs as a party place. I did have the pleasure of visiting the springs today and it was full fun and suprises as usual. Unexpected visits with old friends and new information on old issues a plenty :-) You know what I'm talkin about, smokin guns and stuff like that :-) One things for sure, you'll never know whats gonna happin next in that crazy land of OZ!
