The Daily Press also said in thier front page report yesterday in a couple of places that water was going " over " the Mohave Dam. As you can see in my one photo, the level of the rising water behind the dam was a long way from reaching the spillway over flow. I called the Daily Press last evening and told them that they were in error indicating that water was going over the dam, it is flowing through a big tube " under " the dam currently. The person I contacted at the Daily Press said they would pass along that info. The Daily Press this morning reported that there was 16,303 cubic feet per second coming out of the Mohave Dam as of late yesterday. Regarding the sand dredge at Rock Springs Rd, maybe they pulled the equipment out of there before the flooding began. There was nothing but river to be see where that equipment was.
