From information I have gleaned from various news media, it appears the fire is into the remote and rugged Devils Hole region and upper Deep Creek. Does anyone else have any info about this? The winds are still howling up there.
Last night we ran into 2 not very smart guys in their 20s who were lost and lookiing for the back way into Green Valley Lake. They had a flat tire that they changed at the Village gate and then proceded on their way. I told them how to do it and also mentioned it was their funeral if the fire caught up with them in the forest. We went up to powerline hill in the dark and they were gone when we returned.
