In today's newspaper The Sun, there is an article about the historic Bowen Ranch. The article is not on the internet and I will be getting copies. The story talks about the Bowen Family moving up to the area in the 1920's. When I get a hold of a copy I will post some quotes. There was a photograph of the old Bowen Ranch.
