I also hike nekid when the weather permits to and from DCHS keeping in mind to dress just before I get back to the open route where I have parked. Since the situation last summer coming across the sheriffs rescue people up there I figure its safer to be dressed at my car around the various open routes in case a BLM or Sheriffs person comes along. Brad Burns, the USFS enforcement ranger suggested that this would be the best way to avoid a problem. As we talked about extensively last summer the BLM and the Sheriffs are not as accepting of public nudity, in any areas. We are fortunate to have a USFS person in the area that supports that DCHS and the Deep Creek drainage remains a clothing optional.
