[Name of Group] is an informal volunteer organization that exists to preserve and protect Deep Creek Hot Springs for posterity. Our group is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the Springs and our right to enjoy it by reducing the impact of increased visitation through volunteer cleanup efforts, educating the public about important USFS regulations, as well as encouraging a level of visitor etiquette compatible with the goal of preserving enjoyment of the Springs as we do today.

Our objectives include:

* Preserving the public's right to access the Springs.
* Working with the USFS to reduce potential negative visitor-related environmental impact to the area.
* Communicating USFS regulations regarding use of the area.
* Informing visitors of our local customs and common sense expectations.
* Preserving the clothing-optional custom by informing visitors about appropriate etiquette.
* Establishing a worldwide network of caring hotspringers who can be contacted for support regarding our ongoing right to enjoy the Springs.
* Encouraging visitors to encourage others to follow the rules.

Our informal meetings are held the last Saturday of each month at 1:00pm in the grassy area under the trees above the Anniversary Pool, and are open to the public. We operate and make decisions through seeking the consensus of those present or have otherwise made their views known to the group. Please accept this brochure as your personal invitation to come and join us.
