Sespe Creek out of old Lions Camp or Piedra Blanca Trailhead. The Thomas Fire bunred near there but I heard pretty much spared the creek area. You can hike several miles back. Once you get a couple of miles from the trailhead nobody cares, they are all soakers heading to Sespe and Willett Hot Spring anyway.
