Re: I-15 Closed

My mom and stepdad live in Oak Hills, on Oak Hill Rd ( about a mile from I-15 ) and they were in a mandatory evacuation area for some time because of this fire. They left and could not get back in to their residence for quite a while since the roads into the area were blocked by law enforcement. Thankfully this fire did not reach their residence. I could still see some light smoke from it as I was coming in from the north from BM on HWY 395. Also from about Inyo Kern on south on 395 I could see a very large smoke plume from a fire over in the Tehachapi Mountains. I'll have to check out the inciweb.com site to get the status of that one.
