By late in the day ( July 4 ) we got rain and lightning here in northeastern Apple Valley. The family and I went to watch the fireworks show at Brewster Park at 9PM and the dirt rds and fields that we drive to where we watch were filled with big puddles and there was lots of mud we drove through :-)
