Stage 6 of the Amgen tour of California Bicycle race will close Highway 138 between the hours of 12:00 till 2:30 pm. That is this Friday I suppose it will be chaotic before and after this event.
Most do not know Hwy. 138 is the shortest route to the springs from L.A. It also avoids the traffic congestion and lights of Bear Valley Rd. or Main street in Hesperia.
So plan accordingly and remember leave the springs NICER than you find them !
