I had planned to go out there last weekend, now I'm kind of glad I skipped it. Don't mean to sound anti-social...I'm not...but that sounds like a few more folks than I'd enjoy being around in a small area. Glad they had their fun, though. I'm usually concerned that the "easy hike" in a helicopter will turn out more like a few of us carrying someone up the trail on a litter. Diving's fun, but with alcohol/drugs mixed in, along with big chunks of granite, it's a recipe for life-changing things to happen. Someone just posted a link here about such a thing happening last July, right there near the springs.
As for trashing the place, not sure when I'll be back out there, but I'll have trash bags for anyone that feels like filling them.
