HESPERIA β€” Nader Khalili, internationally renowned architect, author and founder of the California Institute of Earth Art and Architecture in Hesperia, passed away at the age of 72 on March 5.

He died of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Hospital in Los Angeles.

β€œHe was a true humanitarian,” said Hesperia Councilmember Rita Vogler. Vogler went on to state that she is still not certain what will happen to Cal-Earth, which Khalili founded in 1991.
