What Did AZ Mike Overhear and Who Said It

Isn't anyone else interested? According to sycamorelaughing something happened at "Rock Springs" (mojavegreen's ranch) which caused Mike Castro's infamous criminal threats that have become such an intergal part of FOJF's "evidence supporting new laws against rouge OHV riders". LaughingBear used Mike Castro's infamous criminal threats to justify his many FOJF patrols and [gunplay?]. What could it have been that was "overheard" by AZ Mike? Even more interesting is - who said it?

If AZ Mike refuses to identify the person, why dosen't the person themself post what they think happened. Sycamorelaughing refers to "either party's words". Who was the other party?

I have'nt seen J1299 posted as open. Just a few red closed markers that have been vandalized. We all know the story by now and there is a difference of opinion on J1299. Of course I have a personal intrest in this issue as it affects the quality of life in the area. I kinda like my "looney character" neighbors too.....they are really nice people and fun to hang out with. Someday I hope Arizona Mike finds some peace within himself. Life is too short to waste on being angry all the time. I think we will continue to enjoy our land regardless if J1299 is open or closed. The trees are growing and life is good!

The FOJF is a non profit group. Our relationship with the BLM includes a volunteer aggreement with several individual members. We support responsible recreation of our public lands. Our reports have been generating great intrest and yes, the rider on the orange KTM with a white helmut was observed showing the way for two other riders heading east on J1299. They were observed staying on this trail which is now burned to the point of being unridable in places from erosion. What is more interesting is the discovery of two boards with nails burried in sand on trails yesterday by some of our volunteers out hiking. These were immediatly removed and reported to the BLM. It was not on J1299 but elsewhere in Juniper Flats. Nevertheless, this generates much intrest and one must ask the questions. Who is responsible? And why? Does Arizona Mike have any answers?

I can sympathize with Dean and Lauging Bear's concerns about this problem as it relates to thier properties. I do what I can to help the DCV group efforts related to DCHS. That is what I have time for. FOJF represents another group of concerned citizens doing what they can to preserve the Juniper Flats area, a worthy goal also. The truth is, a certain amount of the motorcycle riders who go to these areas, go where they want across the land. It does not matter to them if there is a designated trail, or not.

Since the sport is unable to regulate itself, we are seeing some new laws enacted.
