THE GEYSERS – In the coming months, a two-year project to test the viability of a developing geothermal technology will begin in The Geysers. But while the technology is heralded by some in the geothermal industry as a promising new clean energy source, it's also known to cause sizable earthquakes at some of its test sites around the world.
