...Snow showers will continue in the mountains overnight...
.A cold, slow moving low pressure system will bring periods of
snow showers through the night, with a slight chance of
thunderstorms this evening. Snow showers will taper off early
Monday morning. Snow levels will be near 4000 feet with slick and
treacherous roads likely.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PDT MONDAY...
* Snow Levels...hovering near 4000 feet.
* Snow Accumulations...1 to 2 inches down to 4000 feet...3 to 6
inches from 4500 to 6000 feet...and isolated amounts up to 10
inches in the higher peaks over 6000 feet.
* Winds...generally light winds overnight...but isolated wind
gusts up to 40 mph near thunderstorms and heavier showers.
* Visibility...Reduced at times due to snow and dense fog with
visibilities down to one-quarter mile at times.
* Impacts...Residents and travelers into higher elevations in the
mountains should be prepared for hazardous driving conditions
due to slick roads. If possible...carry chains and take extra
blankets and clothing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities...and use caution while driving.
