I will be in the LA area May 16th - 20th, 2017, and a day-trip to DCHS is on my "bucket list" of places to see. Since it will be my first visit (and I am not a very seasoned hiker), I am looking for another individual or group who would mind me tagging along at least for the initial trip down. I am a 44yo open-minded, laid-back WM who is in fairly decent shape and enjoys meeting new people and exploring the world. So if you plan on visiting DHCS any day next week, please let me know. Thanks.
