I would seriously hope that, while this quest to take over the ranch may be of great significance to you... I would hope that there are other things that truly are more important, essential, if you will, to your life.

Because if this thing goes "south" on you, and it might... better make sure there are some real golf balls in you mayonaise jar that can make your life happy and full. While maybe "sand" or even "gravel", I would hope that being in control of the Bowen Ranch is not "essential" to your happiness.

Whoever runs the Bowen Ranch... well, that's "sand" to me. Visiting the springs... "gravel": a very extraordinary added benefit to life.
