The price for your peaceful enjoyment of the hotsprings is paid by innocent victims of Mike Castro's violent crimes. Do you think that your right to enjoy the hotsprings has more value than a human life? Mike Castro's victims have been left with permanent physical and psychological scars that will never heal. Who will be the next victim?

Don't you think that the public should be warned about this potential danger? That the information on this website may actually save someone from the same fate?

It is horrible that Mike Castro's violent actions reflect on Deep Creek. However, Mike Castro is intricately involved with Deep Creek through the Bowen Ranch.

Maybe you should start thinking about why Mike Castro and Ranger Barry Nelson are such good friends (especially in light of Ranger Nelson's dim view of nudity)? What is Mike Castro actually accomplishing for the Bureau of Land Management? The law enforcement arrangements these agencies have with Mike Castro are illegal under:

Section 1737. Implementation provisions

(d) Recruitment of volunteers
The Secretary may recruit, without regard to the civil service classification laws, rules, or regulations, the services of individuals contributed without compensation as volunteers for aiding in or facilitating the activities administered by the Secretary through the Bureau of Land Management
(e) Restrictions on activities of volunteers
In accepting such services of individuals as volunteers, the Secretary -
(1) shall not permit the use of volunteers in hazardous duty or law enforcement work,...

No volunteers shall be allowed to do law enforcement work. So, what is really going on here? Is Mike Castro being secretly paid? I believe something much larger is going on behind the scenes with the Bureau of Land Management and Mike Castro.

It is my opinion that the public should be made aware of these potential dangers in the Deep Creek area. It is my opinion that the safety and welfare of the public has more value than your personal desire to peacefully enjoy the springs without being reminded of the price being paid by the innocent victims of Mike Castro's crimes.
