I've never been vandalized and have been going to the springs since about 1984. The person who did the work on the " Arizona pool " who's nick name is Arizona Mike got vandalized at the parking lot many years ago. Whatever you do, don't park by the spillway at the Mohave Dam. I've been vandalized twice there with flattened tires and a battery stolen! To many nuts runnin around down there :-( The Mohave dam is about 5 and a half miles down stream from the hotsprings. Some people hike from the spillway area of this dam along the Pacific Crest trail to the springs.
