The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing a criminal case presented by sheriff’s investigators regarding the on-camera beating of Francis Pusok in the High Desert. The Sheriff’s Department launched a criminal investigation into the actions of deputies who were seen kicking, punching and bludgeoning Pusok after he apparently surrendered at the end an hours-long pursuit on April 9.
