The Forest Service would rather that you not be at the springs at night. The area has been designated as day use only. If the ranger would find you down there at night, they could give you a ticket. However, they mostly come down on the weekends either at dawn or sunset.
I realize that Mike Castro does not act violently with all people. Some people he is extremely nice to. However, he can be a completely different person under certain circumstances, so be careful.
Myself and many others are willing to testify about Mike Castro's actions in court or to any appropriate agency. I believe Mike Castro's actions are being used by the Bureau of Land Management to cast a bad light on the area. This is based on numerous letters from the Bureau of Land Management about the conflicts in the area.
